Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on November 22nd, 1985, in New York City New York) is well-known for her abilities to perform across genres such as historical dramas, thrillers and action adventures. Johansson is the daughter of a filmmaker as well as an architect. She was raised by New York City. The twin brothers Hunter and she were her youngest siblings. At the age of seven years old, she began casting for commercials on television. After a short time beginning her study in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Then, in the following years, the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. She made her debut as a film actress in North (1994) when she was nine. She was just eight when she starred alongside Ethan Hawke on Off-Broadway in Sophistry. Johansson subsequently starred in Just Cause (1995), her debut was in the form of Manny & Lo a coming of age drama about sisters running away. The Horse Whisperer (1998), in which Johansson plays the role of a teenager with a an ailment, was well-loved by critics. In the following years, she gained fame as the cynical teenager Rebecca in Ghost World. She is an excellent stage actor. She performed with stunning grace in Wildflower as well as other stage productions. Renee Felice Smith's journey in the world of entertainment started at a very young age. She was drawn to performing as a child. Smith found her first role as an actor when she was age six thanks to her parents. Smith was in an Dannon TV commercial. Like many other actresses starting out, she decided to perfect her art in the realm of theater. As she was making her stage debut with Wildflower she would also work with various theatre projects in the USA. She was a graduate of her Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
